Whiplash, originally titled “Untitled Grapple Game,” is a casual, physics game in which the player uses a grappling hook to traverse multiple levels. As a part of a group of 4, I helped work on the game as the lead UI/UX designer throughout the Spring semester of 2022. It was my job to build the UI, Menus, checkpoint systems, event triggers, and objective trackers.
I assisted in the level design and art direction of the game. I created many prefabs that help the other members to create levels with checkpoints, death zones, and finish zones. With our lead level designer, I am worked towards building shaders and lighting systems to better distinguish between the different platform mechanics.
